The Foundation seeks individuals who are aligned to the mission and vision of the Royal Foundation – empowering our local community to succeed. The following opportunities are currently available:

Program Coordinator-Part Time (20 hours per week)

Pay Range $12 – $15/hour

The program coordinator possesses prior program implementation & administrative experience and is interested in sharing his or her skills to further the goals of the Foundation. This position provides support for Foundation programs and administrative support to the Executive Director(ED). Primary responsibilities include program scheduling, assisting the ED with program implementation and all details, operational support to the Royal Summer Academy, and distribution of event information to partners and other interested parties. This team player is also comfortable with written and verbal communication relating to programming on behalf of the Foundation. Workdays are Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and some weekends as required. There will be some flexibility in scheduling these hours.

Royal Summer Academy Floater (June 11 – August 3, 2018)

Part Time (28 hours) Pay: $10/hour

Under general supervision assists in ensuring that the Academy Vision, Mission and Goals are achieved and assists students in learning subject matter and/or skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible young women and men. The floater reports to the Academy Director. Education and Experience: High school diploma. Experience working with children (in a school setting). Must possess a valid driver’s license and transportation.

Royal Summer Academy Teacher

Full Time (28 hours) Pay: $18/hour

As a teacher in the Summer Academy, you are empowered to lead your students in their subject matter in a way that ensures the Academy Vision, Mission and Goals are achieved and that will contribute to our students’ development as mature, able, and responsible young women and men. All teachers report to the Academy Director. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Early Childhood or Elementary Education OR Student majoring in Elementary Education with practicum experience OR Equivalent proven related work experience.
